The Role
An established architectural practice in Dubai is seeking a talented BIM Architect to join its growing design and technical team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, coordination, and delivery of BIM models and technical documentation across a portfolio of high-profile residential and hospitality projects. This position is ideally suited to an architect with strong Revit expertise, excellent technical coordination skills, and experience working within a fast-paced consultancy environment in the UAE. Key Responsibilities BIM Modelling & Coordination * Develop and manage BIM models throughout all project stages, from concept design to construction documentation. * Produce high-quality architectural drawings, schedules, and technical documentation using Revit. * Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), company standards, and client requirements. * Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, and specialist consultant disciplines. * Participate in clash detection and model coordination workshops to resolve design conflicts. Technical Design & Documentation * Prepare detailed design packages, construction drawings, and tender documentation. * Ensure drawings and models comply with local regulations, authority requirements, and project specifications. * Support project architects and design teams in the development of technical solutions. * Assist with authority submissions and design coordination activities where required. Quality & Project Delivery * Maintain BIM standards, model accuracy, and data integrity throughout project delivery. * Conduct regular model audits and quality reviews. * Support project teams in meeting programme milestones and deliverable requirements. * Ensure all documentation is produced in accordance with company quality standards. Collaboration & Innovation * Work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to support project delivery. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows and best practices. * Support the implementation of new BIM technologies and digital design tools. Requirements Qualifications * Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a related discipline. * BIM certification or Autodesk Revit certification is advantageous. Experience * 5-8 years of professional experience within an architectural consultancy environment. * Proven experience delivering residential and hospitality projects. * Previous UAE experience is strongly preferred. * Dubai project experience will be highly regarded. * Experience working on projects through multiple design stages, including detailed design and construction documentation. Technical Skills * Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit. * Strong knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and coordination processes. * Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model review. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. * Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is advantageous. Personal Attributes * Strong technical and detailing skills. * Excellent communication and coordination abilities. * Highly organised with strong attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. * Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude. Requirements
