The Role Job Responsibilities: Responsible for all contracts of the company in pre-contract phase and execution phase, and supervision of all company’s projects. - Contracts Management in pre-contract phase - Analyses the conditions of the contract, put forward countermeasures, review bidding documents, and chair the contract negotiation in the bidding process. - Drafts and prepares the main contract according to marketing needs. - Contract Management in execution phase - Responsible for MENA and North Africa project commercial contract management, including contract administration, payment management, contract variation and claims management, subcontract management, coordinate and handle commercial matters and disputes during project execution, and assist with project finance. - Project Supervision - Supervises the projects for China Headquarter, provides related information and documents for the supervising team of China Headquarter, provides necessary support to project team. - Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quantity Survey or relevant fields from a reputable University. - Candidates having 4+ years working experience in the contracts department of a reputed company (Certified Professional is preferable), especially having experience in new energy projects. - Good knowledge of contract administration , familiar with FIDIC, claim management and legal aspects pertaining to Construction Contracts. - Candidate, who has successfully managed contracts from drafting, evaluation, and negotiation to execution process, needs to be skilled in numerous areas including legal compliance , variation and claim , negotiation , and relationship management. - Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills , both in one-on-one and group meetings. - Ability to speak, write and communicate effectively in English. - Candidate should possess the analytical, project management and planning skills, and should provide technical and creative solutions to a variety of issues that may arise - Candidate should be dedicated, team-oriented and should possess a strong desire to learn . Note: Candidate shall be based Projects in MENA and North Africa region.
