February 8, 2015 - Man’oushe Street, a popular Middle Eastern restaurant that serves traditional, home-styled street food, has expressed its upbeat attitude in the opening of more branches across the UAE and the region in 2015—thereby complementing its 8 branches located all over the country. The move follows after the company implemented a successful expansion initiative marked by the signing of new master franchise agreements that has resulted in opening new outlets across different locations in the region. To date, Man’oushe Street has also launched new menu offerings, which reinforces the brand’s strength as a provider of delicious, filling, traditional Arabic street food.
Recent industry reports have revealed that the UAE’s USD 8 billion consumer food service segment continues to grow at an annual Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12 per cent—eagerly thriving in a region largely composed of large households. Looking to take advantage of this continued growth. This year, the company expects to open more branches in key locations across the country. To date, Man’oushe Street branches are located in Dubai spots like Sheikh Zayed Road, Mizher, Al Barsha, DIP, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, JAFZA, Downtown Dubai and Tecom and four other branches to be opened in UAE, two new outlets in Dubai, one in each of Al Ghurair and Jumeira by the end of Q2, and two in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi in March and April respectively. In addition, Man’oushe Street expects to open new outlets in Cairo, Egypt, Kuwait and Qatar by the first quarter of 2015.
In 2014, the company signed master franchise partnership agreements with leading restaurant management groups like Wadi Degla, Qatar United Business Development and Kuwait United Dynamics.
“The strong response that we have been receiving has given us the confidence to look towards opening more Man’oushe Street outlets this year. These new branches will demonstrate the company’s commitment towards expanding its presence across the region.” said Jihad El Eit, Founder and CEO, Man’oushe Street. “2014 was a landmark year for us as we have experienced a 70 per cent surge in sales growth as compared to the previous years. Also, our move to expand has resulted in the key signing of master franchise agreements that will see the opening of more branches across new markets.”
Man’oushe Street’s operations have been made stronger with the recent opening of its new AED 6 million HACCP certified Central Kitchen facilities located in DIP. The company has also revealed a new list of menu offerings, proving true to its commitment of providing its customers with authentic street food. New additions include healthy salads, tasty bureks and new kinds of manakeesh —alternative choices that reflect its 'Live Light' motto. All outlets are open until 2:00 AM except for the Downtown Dubai and Tecom branches, which operate 24/7. Man’oushe Street also operates a 24/7 call centre.
Proving that Man'oushe Street has now positioned itself as one of the most highly preferred street food options, it was recently included in the second edition of Caterer Middle East's Power List, which ranks the region’s most influential and successful food and beverage (F&B) players.
