Pacari is set to exhibit its vast array of fine, gourmet chocolates at Gulfood 2015, the world’s biggest annual food and hospitality show
Dubai, UAE, 7 February 2015 – Pacari, the award-winning and world-renowned provider of fine, organic chocolate is partaking in the 2015 Gulfood, held from 8-12 February at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will serve as an ideal platform for Pacari to showcase its premium line of organic, raw chocolate bars, designed to provide food aficionados with the finest gourmet experience.
At the show, visitors will have the chance to savour Pacari’s various sumptuous products, including its Fruit Harvest, Raw, Single Origin, Andean Flavours, Tropical Fruit Covered with Chocolate, and Cocoa Beans Covered with Chocolate ranges. Attendees will also have the opportunity to obtain first-hand insight into the unique origin of Pacari chocolates and learn more about their remarkable organic processing method.
The fact is, since its founding in 2002, Pacari, a family-owned company, has worked directly with local cacao growers in Ecuador to produce the finest quality chocolate. The chocolate creation process involves superior organic ingredients brought together to highlight the exceptional flavour profile of pure Ecuadorian Arriba Nacional cacao beans.
Pacari is the first-ever single-origin organic chocolate brand with 100 percent organic products made entirely in Ecuador, according to fair and equitable standards. It is also the only chocolate company in the world that uses biodynamic cacao.
This dedication to quality has been recognized on the world stage. In the past three years, Pacari has garnered more than 60 gold and silver medals in international competitions, including at London’s prestigious international chocolate awards where Pacari bars have, for three years running, taken top honors.
“We are thrilled to be participating in this year’s edition of Gulfood, one of the most important events on the gastronomic calendar,” said Santiago Peralta, Co-Founder of Pacari Chocolate. “We are especially excited to introduce visitors in this region to fine, gourmet chocolate bars that are delicious, minimally processed, and contain powerful antioxidant ingredients such as biodynamic cacao. At the event, consumers will be able to participate in an unforgettable, enhanced chocolate experience guaranteed to tantalize their taste buds.”
“At Pacari, our vision has long been rooted in innovation. Today, we remain unwaveringly committed to producing superior chocolate flavours that meet the highest standards of quality”, he added.
In line with its mission to ensure biodiversity, Pacari Chocolate has forged over the years many partnerships with a slew of small-scale cacao farmers, to preserve their traditional way of farming.
Moreover, in the process of developing its numerous flavours, Pacari has created new models of sustainable organic agriculture that primarily benefit women from impoverished farming communities in the Ecuadorian highlands.
Pacari’s successful business model and superior product quality is being recognized by prestigious chocolate awards all around the globe. Pacari’s “Lemongrass” and “Pink Salt & Cacao Nibs” tablets are some of Pacari’s flagship chocolates. Pacari Lemongrass captures the deep taste of cacao and the aroma of lemongrass, which made this bar win the gold medal in London’s International Chocolate Awards 2014 for the best flavored chocolate bar in the world. Also, it caused Oprah Winfrey, often referred to as America’s most influential woman, to name it one of her favorite chocolate bars.
