United Arab Emirates, Dubai July 2nd 2014: At a special handover ceremony Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota delivered 100 new Yaris Sedans to Al Ahli Driving Centre. With the vehicles now constituting 20% of their total fleet Al Ahli Driving Centre will be the first company in the UAE to offer people the chance to learn to drive in the all-new Yaris Sedan.
“Since it was introduced in late 2013, the all-new Yaris Sedan has proven to be one of the most popular vehicles in its category. The popularity and potential of this vehicle amongst the UAE’s fleet operators is significant and we expect more driving schools to follow suit in the near future,” commented Jon Williams, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Motors, at the handover ceremony
Adel Noori Jaber, Managing Partner, Al Ahli Driving Centre said: “Three very important factors have led us to purchase the Yaris Sedan; its class leading safety features, low total cost of ownership and reliability. It’s very important that our cars have the best safety features as a lot of our students are first time-drivers. Our cars will also be driven for many kilometres over several years so they have to be extremely durable and cost effective when repairs and maintenance are required. All these factors are ingrained in the DNA of Toyota and the Yaris Sedan.”
The Yaris brand currently dominates the small passenger car segment, hatch back and sedan, where almost 1 in 3 vehicles sold are a Yaris. This trend is expected to continue in the coming years as the Yaris sedan is joined in the UAE by the all-new Yaris Hatchback. Both vehicles are available at all Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota showrooms or for more information visit www.toyota.ae
