Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 05 June 2014: Jabra, a GN Netcom brand, and Hyperphone, an electronics distributor, celebrate three years of alliance in GCC Region at a partnership event on June 08, 2014. The event will be a platform to discuss future plans and strategies relating to the regional market and small and medium retailers.
The two companies have joined hands to empower traditional Telco channels present across the GCC and deliver a Global brand such as Jabra with after-sales support and the latest in technology to this segment of channels. Hyperphone has identified that the souk, neighborhood stores, and kiosks have a loyal customer base and form a considerable part of the market. Hence, for the UAE, it is a pioneering approach to cater to the traditional SME retail sector which has not been the focal point of large retailers.
Ahmed Elkalliny, Jabra Regional Director, Middle East and Africa says, “We are delighted to have established a strong partnership with Hyperphone to cater to small and medium sized retail businesses. The partnership has shown year on year growth of over 35% and has delivered a share of business which is over 30% of the total UAE retail market for Jabra sales in terms of units.”
Shapoor Behram Mirzaei , the Chief Executive Officer, at Hyperphone says, “Over the last three years, it has been a privilege to work with the leading global brand as the support received from them has enabled us to overachieve our sales targets. Together, we ensure that wireless technology is more conveniently available to the residents of the region.”
With the support of Hyperphone, Jabra products are now available at Al Falak, SBK, Hi Phone, and Comtel, among other retailers. For more information on Jabra, please visit ae.jabra.com or
