Four ecstatic GITEX Shopper Spring winners drive off in a Limited Edition Honda Accord

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 27 April 2014: Four GITEX Shopper Spring 2014 visitors are beaming from ear to ear as the keys to a Limited Edition Honda Accord were handed over to them today at Dubai World Trade Centre. Ayesha Ashfaq, Arun Prakash, Muhammad Ahsan Cheema and Nelia Pardito were the lucky winners whose names were drawn to win the Limited Edition Honda Accord in the daily competition.

Held from 23-26 April 2014, GITEX Shopper Spring 2014 visitors participated in the competition, which gave them a chance to win a car every day of the show in addition to “Visit & Win” raffles, gift vouchers, giveaways, “Scratch & Win” promotions. Visitors to the Honda stand at the show also received a special GITEX Shopper discount voucher of up to AED 5,000, which can be redeemed at Al-Futtaim Honda showrooms on the latest Honda Accord EXB and CR-V LX models.

Winner Ayesha Ashfaq, an Indian national who resides in Dubai, said: “Winning the car was totally unexpected. I’m so excited especially because this is the month of my wedding anniversary and my husband cannot wait to get behind the wheel.”

Muhammad Ahsan Cheema, a Pakistani national and Ajman resident, could not sleep a wink after hearing about his win at GITEX Shopper Spring 2014. “I came to the show to purchase a hard drive and WIFI extender but ended up with a Honda Accord – this is amazing! I could not sleep when I was told last night that I had won a car and now I’m very excited to drive the car.”

Indian national and Dubai resident Arun Prakash visited the show to buy an 50 inch Phillips LED TV, Lenovo laptop and iPad for his son and was astounded by his good fortune when he name was announced as a car winner. “I’m so happy right now. This is unbelievable!” he said as he laid eyes on his car prize.

Filipino Nelia Pardito, who lives in Dubai, visited GITEX Shopper for the very first time this weekend and was thrilled by her new car. “I have never won something like this in my life. I came to buy an Asus laptop from Jacky’s on Friday and it’s amazing to walk away with a beautiful new car,” she said.
