ADPC streamlines customer processes

Abu Dhabi, UAE: Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC), the master developer of ports and industrial zones, has introduced new payment machines for customer and visitor passes at Abu Dhabi ports.

ADPC's ports process more than 125,000 passes each year.  This year, over 108,000 passes have already been issued, moving forward the new machines will significantly reduce processing and waiting times for customers.

The new payment machines are now operational in the passes offices at all of Abu Dhabi's city ports including Zayed Port, Khalifa Port, Musaffah Port and the Freeport.   The service will be rolled out to the Western Region Ports very soon.

The new payment system is a clear demonstration of ADPC's commitment to provide advanced services for its customers.  It follows the recent launch of the online ‘e-Pass' system which was introduced in June, for speedy processing of daily and visitor passes for land and seaborne traffic through Abu Dhabi ports.

Commenting on the introduction of the new payment machines, Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Acting CEO, ADPC said:

“The new payment machines are easy to use and will save our customers time, making their visit to our port much more streamlined and efficient.
The new machines will also save time for our staff allowing them to increase their productivity and focus on more complicated tasks and more complex customer enquiries.”
