Musanada Wins the Award for Best Facilities Management in the Middle East for the Year 2013

Abu Dhabi, 9 July 2013: Abu Dhabi General Services “Musanada” won an exceptional award in the field of facilities management for Best Facilities Manager in the Middle East for the current year 2013.
The Regional Manager for the Western region in Musanada, Engineer Fawziya Al-Marzouqi, received the award during the sixth annual Facilities Management Middle East Awards ceremony held at Emirates Towers in Dubai.
It is worth noting that this award is granted to individuals and entities that significantly contribute to the development of facilities and go above and beyond the call of duty, with a commitment to best practices and the highest levels of quality and service.
The Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi General Services “Musanada”, H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, stressed that this success highlights the leading position of Musanada in the facilities sector, as it is keen on providing high quality services.
Moreover, he declared that the facilities management in Musanada plays a pivotal role in the execution and maintenance of governmental buildings in Abu Dhabi. It supervised and completed several undertakings, notably related to school maintenance in different regions of Abu Dhabi, in addition to sports facilities, mosques, and governmental buildings. It also attached huge importance to the air conditioning and electrical appliances, lighting systems, cleaning, landscaping, and other facilities management tasks.
H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi added that Facilities Management in Musanada, presided over by Engineer Hilal Abdallah Al Balouchi, has made significant achievements that deserve to be praised and honored, and which have culminated with Engineer Fawziya Al-Marzouqi receiving the Best Facilities Manager Award in the Middle East for the year 2013.
Marzouqi expressed how honored and proud she was of being granted the “Best Facilities Manager” award, particularly since she is the first woman to receive this title.
She affirmed that she could have never been the winner of such a prestigious award without the great support of Abu Dhabi General Services “Musanada”.
Marzouqi extended her gratitude to the CEO, H.E. Mohammad Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, the executive directors, and the Musanada team for offering her all the support and assistance needed in facilities management and the execution of the tasks entrusted to her.
She confirmed that receiving such an award heightens her sense of responsibility to relentlessly pursue excellence and attain more goals on the professional as well as the personal levels, which contributes to the promotion of the United Arab Emirates in general and Abu Dhabi in particular.
Musanada was established by virtue of a decree promulgated in 2007 by H.E. Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, in an effort to provide support and assistance to all Abu Dhabi's departments, entities and government bodies.
It is worth noting that Musanada offers its services to around 3250 sites throughout Abu Dhabi, including 2050 mosques and 262 schools, in addition to governmental buildings and social as well as sports facilities.
About Engineer Fawziya Al-Marzouqi:
Engineer Fawziya Al-Marzouqi embarked on her career in 2004 as an Electrical Engineer in a governmental entity before she joined Musanada in 2009.
She achieved great progress throughout her work until she occupied the position of Regional Manager for the Western region where she is in charge of 15 employees and 600 buildings affiliated to 13 beneficiaries.
In 2012, Marzouqi was delegated to work and receive training in “Mace Macro”, the leading international property consultancy and facilities management company.
Marzouqi was also honored in 2012 as she received an appreciation award from Musanada's CEO for her outstanding performance in management.
