UAE, March 31, 2015 – Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University (HBMSU) recently welcomed a high-level delegation from the International Hospital Federation (IHF), a global association of healthcare organizations, to its campus to discuss their future collaboration and mutual cooperation in the health sector management of the UAE. The delegation was headed by Dr. Eric De Roodenbeke, CEO, IHF and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Special Advisor to the Middle East Region, IHF. During the visit, the delegation was given a short introduction about the university, its goals, role and achievements. Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, HBMSU Chancellor, said that the IHF's timely visit to the university falls in line with its ongoing intensified efforts aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of learners and healthcare professionals in the UAE. By equipping them with advanced skills, they will be able to strategically address current and future health- and environmental-related challenges.
