The Role * This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the Groups legal function and providing strategic legal guidance to executive management across the business. * The role manages complex legal matters including commercial agreements, corporate transactions, litigation, risk management, and legal oversight across multiple subsidiary entities. Description * Act as the principal legal advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on significant legal and commercial matters. * Provide strategic oversight of corporate transactions, restructuring initiatives, and major contractual negotiations. * Lead the Groups legal risk management framework, ensuring key risks are identified, mitigated, and appropriately escalated. * Oversee complex litigation, arbitration, disputes, and the management of external legal counsel. * Develop and lead a high-performing legal team while driving consistency in legal practices across all group entities. Requirements * Bachelors degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); postgraduate legal qualifications are advantageous. * Licensed to practice law in the UAE jurisdiction. * Minimum 15 years of progressive legal experience, including senior legal leadership responsibilities. * Extensive expertise in UAE corporate, commercial, labour, and regulatory law. * Proven track record advising senior executives on complex transactions, litigation, governance, and legal risk matters.
