The Role
We are partnering with a semi-government real estate developer in Abu Dhabi to hire a Senior Government Relations Associate to support government stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and project approvals. The role will play an important part in ensuring the company’s real estate development projects are aligned with UAE regulations, government requirements, and industry standards, while maintaining effective relationships with relevant authorities and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Manage relationships and coordinate with government entities and regulatory authorities. • Support project registrations, permits, approvals, and regulatory submissions throughout the development lifecycle. • Liaise with ADREC, ADGM and DARI on real estate development requirements and project-related matters. • Monitor regulatory and policy changes and assess their potential impact on projects and operations. • Coordinate with Development, Design, Sales, Legal and external consultants to ensure regulatory alignment. • Support the preparation, review, and submission of project documentation, reports, permits, and regulatory requirements. • Follow up with government authorities to ensure timely approvals and resolution of regulatory matters. • Support the management of regulatory issues and identify potential compliance and regulatory risks. • Assist with government stakeholder meetings, briefings, consultations, and other engagement activities.

Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant experience within real estate or construction. • Strong understanding of UAE real estate regulations, government processes, and regulatory requirements. • Proven experience dealing with government entities, authorities, and external stakeholders. • Experience with ADREC, ADGM and/or DARI would be highly relevant. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.
