KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES General Management Activities • In addition to supervisory and management functions like training, hiring, and evaluating creative staff, the Creative Officer interacts with other departments to maintain communication and client satisfaction. • Attend planning meetings and make presentations to the Marketing Executive to decide the strategic and creative direction of advertising campaigns. • Use creative expertise to interpret the companys vision and make it a tangible and deliverable product. • Plan and implement budgets to ensure both quality and efficiency, and establish schedules on short- and long-term projects. Operational Activities • Provide inputs to the Marketing Executive for defining marketing and branding budgets for the year. • Plan and develop different marketing initiatives as per guidance from the Marketing Executive. • Communicate marketing and branding strategies to management and the team for getting their buy-in and cooperation. • Facilitate the Marketing Executive for the development of marketing collateral including items required for shop display and signage. • Provide inputs to the management committee and to the Marketing Executive in particular, for new marketing initiatives that could be taken up to boost organizational sales. BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications • Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts or a related field, or equivalent visual design and management experience. • Graduate degree is preferred. • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in designing and executing marketing and branding campaigns for wooden products manufacturing organizations. • Experience working in GCC countries is an advantage. • Strong marketing skills in addition to analytical and planning skills. • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and identify and analyze consumer behavior and preferences. • Ability to establish new relationships with external stakeholders from media, national and business publications, government agencies, etc. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and designing software like Photoshop / Illustrator. • Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken). Skills • Align creative departments and stakeholders with their ideas. • Proven success in crafting and executing brand strategies. • Project and time management skills. • Inspire radical ideas. • Understanding of design thinking and UX design principles. • Analytical and critical thinking. • Big-picture vision for aligning creative projects with company and brand mission. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Attention to detail and creative flair.
