We are looking for a qualified and experienced Planning Engineer to manage large scale Project mainly Port Construction Projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have bachelors degree in engineering with minimum of 7 years of experience in their discipline with at least 5 years acting in the proposed role on similar projects of similar size and complexity in UAE. Must have been involved in at least 2 Projects within the Emirates of Abu Dhabi in the last 5 years. Must have good English language skills and have a strong working knowledge of Abu Dhabi Authorities procedures and standards. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing project schedules and reports, mitigation and/ or revised schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery in compliance with client and authority requirements and etc. Key Responsibilities 1) Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 as must skills and MS Project as additional skills, covering all construction phases from mobilization to handover. 2) Full planning skills in preparation Cost loaded Program, Resource loaded Program, Change Log, KPI, EOTs and..etc. 3) Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with the baseline schedule as well as to identify any major risks along with action plan in line with management directions. 4) Prepare look-ahead programs, progress reports, Mitigation plans, crushed plans and recovery plans in case of delays. 5) Conduct regular site visits and any required visits to verify actual progress against planned timelines in Abu Dhabi. 6) Integrate project milestones and deliverables with Authorities NOCs approval processes, traffic diversion programs, and authority permits. 7) Analyze critical path, float, and resource allocation to optimize project timelines. 8) Participate in project progress meetings and provide presentations updates to management and client representatives. 9) Strong experience in delay analysis (Time Impact Analysis, Window Analysis) and contractual correspondence. 10) Ensure compliance with project planning guidelines and coordinate closely with project control teams. 11) Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, and reports in coordination with document control.

Requirements
1) Must have experience in Port construction projects. 2) Bachelors degree Engineer with minimum of 7 years of experience in their discipline with at least 5 years acting in the proposed role on similar projects of similar size and complexity in the UAE. Must have been involved in at least 2 Projects within the Emirates of Abu Dhabi in the last 5 years.  3) Proven experience working with similar projects, familiar with their procedures, submittals, and reporting formats and etc. 4) Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Office Suite. 5) Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project workflows. 6) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 7) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 8) Must have good English language skills Skills Required Planning Engineer position on a marine, ports, harbour. The candidate should ideally have the following experience: Essential Experience 5–7+ years of planning and project controls experience in construction. Proven experience with marine, ports, harbours, jetties, quays, breakwaters and dredging. Experience preparing and managing: Baseline Programmes Recovery Programmes Revised Programmes Monthly Programme Updates Resource and Cost Loaded Schedule Experience preparing planning reports, S-curves, productivity analysis, and KPIs. Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project management teams. Technical Knowledge Marine construction methodology, including: Piling works Pontoon installation Marine structures Floating equipment and barges Heavy lifting operations Understanding of temporary works and marine logistics. Contractual Knowledge FIDIC Contracts. Claims. Progress measurement and earned value management. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in civil engineering or construction management. PMP certification (preferred). Primavera P6 Professional Certification. Experience in UAE projects, particularly with AD Ports, DP World or similar clients. Ideal Project Experience A strong Planning Manager should have successfully managed planning for projects such as: Ports and Harbours Marine Terminals Container Terminals Service Harbours Offshore Marine Structures Large Infrastructure Projects valued
