Join our dynamic team as an HSE Officer on a prestigious high-speed rail tunneling project in Abu Dhabi. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and promoting health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure a safe and compliant work environment throughout this landmark construction initiative. Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures specific to tunneling and high-speed rail construction activities. - Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations. - Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Provide HSE training and awareness programs to all project personnel, fostering a safety culture on site. - Collaborate with project management, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure all HSE requirements are met. - Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and inspections, and prepare reports for senior management. - Ensure environmental protection measures are integrated and adhered to throughout project operations.

Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 3 years experience as an HSE Officer in large-scale construction projects, preferably tunneling or railway projects. - Thorough knowledge of UAE safety laws, regulations, and best practices in construction and tunneling environments. - Strong observational and analytical skills with a proactive approach to hazard identification and mitigation. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct training and engage a diverse workforce. - Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable. - Ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety standards and deadlines.
