The Role We are hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) for a leading construction company in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, with concrete restoration project experience being highly preferred. The selected candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, project cost control, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates. - Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow. - Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative analyses. - Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts. - Review contract documents and manage contractual correspondence. - Handle variations, claims, and change orders. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. - Ensure all commercial activities comply with contract terms and company procedures. - Prepare regular cost reports and financial forecasts.
Requirements - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. - Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. - Experience in concrete restoration projects is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, contract administration, and cost control. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software. - Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - UAE experience is preferred.
