The Role Job Description: - Prepare a range of canapés, hors d’oeuvres, finger foods, mini sandwiches, tartlets, and cold kitchen items from scratch, including doughs, breads, tart shells, and pastry bases. - Maintain high standards of quality, taste, portion control, and presentation while assisting with new canapé concepts and menu development. - Keep the workstation clean, organized, and hygienic while adhering to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards, including proper FIFO stock management. - Assist with daily kitchen operations, catering, and event production in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while ensuring quality and production targets are met.
Requirements Qualifications: - Open to male, Asian or African nationals, aged 45 years old and below - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Canapés Chef or in a similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating experience in high-quality bread, tart shells, pastry bases, and plating - Strong leadership skills and effective English communication skills - Must have a HACCP Level 3 Certificate
