The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer to join our leading UK international law firm in Riyadh. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on complex banking and finance transactions within a dynamic, global legal environment, providing expert legal advice to prestigious clients across the region. Responsibilities: - Advise clients on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including syndicated loans, project finance, acquisition finance, and Islamic finance transactions banking, debt capital markets and financial regulation. - Draft, review, and negotiate complex financial contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and client interests. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to structure innovative financial solutions tailored to client needs. - Stay up-to-date with legal developments in banking and finance law to provide proactive strategic advice. - Lead and mentor junior lawyers and support staff to foster professional growth and high-quality service delivery. - Represent the firm and clients in negotiations, meetings, and business development initiatives to strengthen client relationships.
Requirements - Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a recognized jurisdiction with significant experience in banking and finance law. - Strong expertise in handling syndicated loans, project and acquisition finance, and Islamic finance structures. - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage complex transactions. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead legal teams in a fast-paced, international environment. - Strong commercial awareness and client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services. - Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
About the company Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel. Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role.
