The Role • Project Delivery & Leadership: Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (structural, civil, MEP, and architectural) to deliver high-quality infrastructure and building projects on time and within budget. • Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as ???? primary client liaison, building strong relationships, managing client expectations, and leading progress review meetings. • Financial & Commercial Control: Monitor project financial performance, including fee management, invoicing, resource allocation, and profitability forecasting. • Scope & Risk Management: Define project scopes, establish clear work breakdown structures, identify project risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all deliverables comply with relevant international codes, local statutory regulations, and our internal Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes. • Business Development Support: Assist our senior leadership team in preparing technical proposals, scope definitions, and fee estimates for prospective infrastructure and building pursuits.
Requirements • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a strong plus). • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of total experience, with at least 3 to 5 years specifically managing infrastructure and/or building projects within an engineering consultancy environment and as a Project Director/Manager • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent recognized accreditation is highly preferred. • Contractual & Regulatory Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience administering FIDIC contract forms (Red, Yellow, or Silver Books) and navigating local municipal and statutory authorities for approvals, permits, and NOCs. • Technical Knowledge: A solid foundational understanding of structural design, civil infrastructure systems, site utilities, and multidisciplinary design coordination. • Software Literacy: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and familiarity with engineering coordination platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD). • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills tailored for client-facing consultancy work. • Must be able to speak Arabic
