The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a Dubai-based organisation on a 3-month contract assignment. This is a part-time position (4 days per week) offering the opportunity to support the business across a broad range of commercial and pharmaceutical legal matters. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice, lead the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, and advise on legal matters relating to the pharmaceutical sector. This role is well suited to a confident, business-oriented lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced in-house environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a broad range of complex commercial contracts. 2. Provide strategic legal advice on commercial and pharmaceutical matters. 3. Partner with senior business stakeholders to deliver practical, commercially focused legal solutions. 4. Support negotiations with customers, suppliers, distributors, and strategic business partners. 5. Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks. 6. Advise on regulatory and compliance matters affecting the pharmaceutical business. 7. Develop and review legal policies, templates, and documentation. 8. Manage and coordinate external legal counsel where required.

Requirements
1. Qualified lawyer with significant post-qualification experience. 2. Experience gained within the GCC, either at a leading international law firm or within the legal department of an international organisation. 3. Strong background advising on commercial contracts and pharmaceutical sector matters. 4. Excellent commercial drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory skills. 5. Proven ability to work independently while partnering with senior business stakeholders. 6. Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential. 7. Arabic language skills would be a distinct advantage. 8.
