The Role Key Responsibilities • Integrate and maintain industrial camera and sensor systems with stable, repeatable acquisition. • Develop reliable perception pipelines that generate robot-ready outputs, including measurements, poses, confidence scores, and quality metrics. • Own camera calibration, camera-to-world/robot alignment, hand-eye calibration, and repeatability validation. • Design and optimize image processing, detection, inspection, and sensor interpretation algorithms. • Validate solutions under real-world production conditions and troubleshoot issues related to lighting, vibration, speed, and accuracy. • Ensure perception outputs meet quality standards before reaching downstream execution systems. • Document validation processes, performance metrics, and troubleshooting procedures. What Were Looking For • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Experience delivering production-ready industrial vision solutions. • Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced engineering environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Requirements Required Skills & Experience • Hands-on experience with industrial vision/camera integration in production environments. • Strong expertise in 3D perception, including depth sensing, ToF cameras, and point cloud processing. • Experience with camera calibration, coordinate transformations, and hand-eye calibration. • Strong understanding of validation, quality gating, and perception reliability. • Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, with strong knowledge of OpenCV. • Experience debugging real-world perception challenges such as drift, dropped frames, and environmental variations. Preferred Skills • Sensor fusion and time synchronization. • GPU acceleration for perception and inference pipelines. • Experience with industrial robotics or automation systems.
