The Role We are looking for a Project Engineer Steel Structure with hands-on experience in steel erection, fabrication coordination, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring execution as per approved drawings, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams for smooth project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise steel structure erection activities at site and ensure work completion as per project timelines. - Coordinate with fabrication workshops for material production, delivery schedules, and site requirements. - Monitor roofing works including cladding, sheeting, insulation, and related activities. - Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and QA/QC requirements. - Prepare, raise, and follow up on RFIs, MIRs, and inspection requests. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for project execution. - Prepare daily and weekly progress reports. - Monitor productivity and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources. - Ensure compliance with EGA safety standards, permit requirements, and site safety procedures. - Support material planning, site logistics coordination, and resolving site-related issues.
Requirements Candidate Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. - 35 years of experience in steel structure projects. - Strong experience in steel erection, fabrication, and roofing/cladding works. - Experience working on industrial projects is mandatory. - Good knowledge of structural steel drawings, erection methods, and site coordination. - Familiarity with QA/QC documentation including RFIs, MIRs, and inspection procedures. - Strong communication and coordination skills. - Preferred Industry Experience Candidates from companies involved in: - Industrial steel structures - Steel fabrication & erection - EPC projects - Warehouses, factories, power plants, and industrial facilities
