The Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading natural stone and marble company in the UAE. The Opportunity Working closely with estimation and project teams, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major high-end fit-out projects, including luxury hospitality, commercial buildings and iconic developments. Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead the commercial management of projects from tender stage through to final account, ensuring robust financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the preparation, review and submission of competitive tenders, ensuring accurate pricing, risk assessment and commercial viability. Manage all post-contract commercial activities, including valuations, variations, claims, cost reporting and final accounts. Develop, monitor and control project budgets, forecasts and management accounts to ensure profitability and financial performance. Implement effective cost control procedures and provide regular financial reporting to senior management. Monitor project cash flow, payment applications, collections and overall financial performance. Identify, assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and project teams to support successful commercial outcomes and project delivery. Oversee the procurement process, including subcontractor and supplier negotiations, appointments and contract administration. Manage and provide leadership to the accounts department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely invoicing, payment processing and adherence to company financial controls. Support the development and implementation of commercial strategies, policies and best practices to improve business performance.
Requirements Experience Required Experience working in the Middle East. Strong experience in stone, interior fit-out and luxury finishes. Proven experience on large-scale, high-end, or iconic interior projects 10+ years Quantity Surveying experience with at least 3 years in a Commercial Management capacity. Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of international construction contracts and commercial processes Excellent communication skills in English.
