The Role As Bartender at Miraval The Red Sea, your main role is to assist with the smooth and efficient service of the Bar Operation, ensuring that the outlet operates successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable. Job Description • Deliver exceptional guest service by establishing rapport and maintaining positive relationships with guests and colleagues • Present menus and wine lists, answer inquiries, and provide food and beverage recommendations • Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages promptly according to established sequences and service standards • Up-sell beverages and additional products to enhance guest experience and drive revenue • Prepare mis-en-place, set up, clear, and reset tables and counters to maintain a tidy outlet • Ensure all beverage stocks are properly stored at appropriate temperatures and glasses are well polished • Assist with bar inventory management, stock replenishment, and accurate inventory records • Perform cashiering duties including processing payments, verifying cash and credit cards, and adhering to Finance department policies • Handle guest complaints and inquiries courteously, escalating issues to Team Leader or Assistant Manager as needed • Assist in outlet setup and decoration during special promotions or themed events • Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in accordance with departmental operation standards • Comply with all health, hygiene, safety, and fire regulations at all times • Uphold Hyatts values, F&B vision and mission, and maintain high standards of personal presentation and punctuality
Requirements • SMARTSERVE certification required • Valid Food Handler Certification • Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant • Proficiency with Micros POS system • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and wine • Familiarity with current local and international F&B industry trends • Basic proficiency in Arabic preferred • Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest engagement skills • Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented with a professional attitude
