The Role Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance. Obtain and compare quotations to ensure best value for the company. Prepare, issue, and track Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) in accordance with company procedures. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers. Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase documentation. Monitor inventory levels and assist in planning procurement activities. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company procurement policies. Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, delivery, or invoicing.
Requirements Bachelors degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. 57 years of proven procurement experience in the UAE. Strong knowledge of LPO preparation and processing, vendor management, and procurement procedures. Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement activities effectively.
