The role requires to prepares cost estimates by analysing project proposals. Provide necessary support and expertise in the competent engagement of Main-Contractors and is responsible for providing input into evaluating tender documents, involve in deciding how the tendering project will work. Recommend tenders and conduct negotiations thereafter. The Estimator’s role is required to be detail-oriented i.e. attention to all of the small particulars when working on project(s) is crucial. Fully aware of productivity rates, prices, pricing strategy and how to overcome competitors. Meet fixed deadlines. Estimation Responsibilities • Preparing cost estimate and budget • Exploring contract documents to gain a deep understanding of project requirements • Fully aware of the contract condition, risks, and risk assessment • Creating and presenting reports to higher management • Performing complex analysis of collected data and metrics • Visiting sites, and other venues necessary to do estimates • Collecting and analysing data by gathering proposals, drawings, specifications, and others related document • High analytical skills which enable an estimator to consider and evaluate different construction methods and options to determine the most cost-effective solutions or recommendations that meet the required specifications • To keep record and maintain all data related to pricing through the estimation software adopted by the company such as benchmark. Commercial Responsibilities • Building and maintaining healthy and long-term relationships with supply chain (suppliers and subcontractors) • Negotiating prices with subcontractors for competitive bidding • Supporting the business development with registration and dealing with the potential clients • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with contacts at all levels of customer/client/vendors accounts. • Work closely with the rest of the Business Unit and champion the promotion of company during the negotiation process. • Assist Business Development team to develops new business opportunities with existing customers. Operational Responsibilities • Communicating with engineers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors efficiently and effectively • Preparation of the project budget and to be handed over to the operation team • Preparing economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. • Review and evaluating the pricing assumption after the project completion

Requirements
• Civil Engineer Degree holder • Fully IT literate, with experience in the Microsoft operating system / Tools and internet applications. • Must speak English, Arabic will be an advantage. • 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within Dubai or UAE or Middle East • Preferably working for Main Contractor experience, Asphalt knowledge will be an advantage
