The Role We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics efficiently, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and clients. Responsibilities: - Manage, develop and implement effective strategies to optimize process including import/export, warehousing, transportation and distribution to customers. - Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. - Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure best service and rates. - Lead and supervise the logistics team, providing guidance and support for growth and productivity. - Analyze logistics performance and identify areas for improvement and cost-saving measures. - Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards in all logistics activities, it includes ensuring all required documents are submitted on time for internal and external compliance. - Prepare reports on logistics performance, challenges, and solutions for senior management. - Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Procurement and Finance Teams. - Perform support and other task as required from time to time.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience and supervisory role as Logistics Manager or similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry. - Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation processes. - Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. - Experience in the use of system software and Microsoft Office suite. - Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication (verbal and written), and negotiation skills. - Familiarity with UAE logistics regulations and standards is preferred. Particularly in regions of Asia, Middle East and Africa
