Additional Information
The Role Irwin & Dow is supporting a highly respected organisation in Dubai with the appointment of a Senior Analyst to join its team. Open exclusively to UAE Nationals, this opportunity is ideally suited to a detail-oriented and analytical professional seeking to develop a long-term career within regulation, risk management, governance, and oversight in a highly structured and purpose-driven environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the supervision of regulated entities through the assessment and processing of a broad range of regulatory transactions. Responsibilities will include reviewing and processing applications relating to authorised individuals, ownership and control changes, licensing amendments, regulatory waivers, and business closures, ensuring transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established risk-based frameworks and service standards. This role will suit candidates who have experience managing high volumes of complex administrative, regulatory, compliance, or operational transactions where accuracy, judgement, and attention to detail are critical. In addition to transaction management, the role will support ongoing supervision and risk monitoring activities across a diverse portfolio of regulated entities. The successful candidate will analyse information and firm data, support risk assessments, conduct due diligence reviews, maintain regulatory records, respond to stakeholder enquiries, and contribute to thematic reviews and monitoring exercises. The ability to apply sound judgement, identify emerging risks, and support risk-based decision-making will be essential. A significant aspect of the role involves producing and maintaining management information and reporting for senior leadership. Candidates should therefore possess strong analytical capabilities and experience working with data, generating reports, identifying trends, and presenting insights that support business and regulatory decision-making. Experience using Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms will be highly advantageous. The Senior Analyst will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, systems development projects, and the ongoing enhancement of internal tools, procedures, and reporting capabilities. Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate data and records, supporting automation and reporting enhancements, and ensuring information systems remain up to date and fit for purpose.
Requirements The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, alongside a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a regulated organisation, financial services institution, regulatory authority, government entity, risk management function, audit practice, or compliance environment. Experience within the DIFC ecosystem would be considered highly advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining exceptional levels of accuracy and professionalism. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated UAE National to gain exposure to a sophisticated regulatory environment, offering broad stakeholder engagement, ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to contribute to an organisation committed to strong governance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
