The Role
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager, with an experience in MEP & subcontracts, to join their project team in the Middle East, supporting the delivery of large-scale, high-profile construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing all contractual and commercial aspects of MEP packages, ensuring effective administration of contracts in line with FIDIC conditions, while protecting the company’s commercial position and supporting successful project delivery. Responsibilities - Review, draft, and negotiate MEP contracts, subcontract agreements, and commercial documents. - Lead and manage the preparation, submission, and resolution of claims, variations, and disputes - Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, including notices, correspondence, and reporting - Provide strategic commercial and contractual advice to project and senior management teams - Lead contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers - Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle - Oversee subcontractor contract administration, performance, and compliance.

Requirements
Responsibilities - Minimum 10+ years’ experience managing contracts within the construction industry, with knowledge/experience of MEP. - Experience working in the U.K. OR European construction markets is highly desirable as well as the Middle East (FIDIC contract knowledge). - Strong background working with major contractors on large?scale commercial, mixed?use, or infrastructure projects. - Excellent understanding of technical disciplines, contractual frameworks, and claims management. - Experience in the Middle East—ideally Saudi Arabia or the GCC—is highly desirable. - Proven ability to operate in a corporate environment, supporting multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder?management skills. - Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
