Tips for Timing Your Journey

Avoid Peak Hours

The busiest times are 7:00-9:00 AM and 5:30-7:30 PM on weekdays. If possible, travel outside these hours for a more comfortable ride.

Airport Travellers

For early morning flights, the first metro departs at 5:00 AM. Plan for a 30-45 minute journey from most areas to Airport Terminal stations. Consider taxi for flights before 6 AM.

Weekend Planning

Trains run later on Thursday and Friday nights (until 1:00 AM). Weekend mornings are quieter, making it a great time for sightseeing.

Connection Timing

Allow 5-8 minutes for transfers at Union and BurJuman interchange stations. Follow the directional signs on platforms.
