Dubai, UAE, 19 February 2026: From 2 to 7 March, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library will organise Al Khor Ramadan Nights, bringing culture, art, and community activities under one roof.
Held in collaboration with Empty Basket and in conjunction with the Year of Family, the event will host more than 30 entities and exhibitors. Visitors can enjoy a diverse program featuring a Ramadan market, poetry and musical evenings, intellectual workshops, and dedicated children’s activities.
The Ramadan Market is one of the key highlights of Al Khor Ramadan Nights, a fully integrated Ramadan-themed area showcasing carefully selected SMEs and home-based businesses. These projects will offer products and experiences aligned with the spirit of the holy month.
Visitors can further enrich their experience at Ramadan Street Food. It will bring together a variety of restaurants and food ventures, alongside a live cooking corner, to deliver a complete Ramadan experience that reflects the essence of the month.
Promoting Family Awareness
As part of the cultural program, the workshop Feasibility Study: A Lifelong Project, will present marriage as a human-centered project that requires planning and awareness. The workshop addresses defining goals and vision, analysing social realities and challenges, and achieving balance between financial and emotional costs.
The festival will also offer a dedicated space for reading clubs, with topics inspired by the holy month of Ramadan and the Year of Family.
Poetry, Music, and Heritage
The program also includes a poetry evening featuring poets presenting verses celebrating the UAE, its cultural heritage, the holy month, and the family. Furthermore, Al Khor Nights continue with the soothing melodies of the oud in a serene atmosphere, allowing attendees to enjoy a musical experience along the banks of Dubai Creek.
Activities for All Ages
The Library pays special attention to visitors of all ages through a wide range of creative activities. These include drawing and colouring, making necklaces and bracelets, decorating books, and arranging flower bouquets and accessories.
A curated selection of books catering to various interests and age groups will also be available, with themes inspired by Ramadan and the Year of Family, alongside sessions fostering meaningful discussions on social and cultural topics.
Amid the distinctive Ramadan ambiance at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, the Make Your Own Misbaha workshop invites participants to transform beads into expressions of reflection and creativity. Attendees can carefully select their colours and details, crafting a personalised prayer bead strand.
The Library will also host a Heritage Fashion Night showcasing fabrics and garments that tell the story of the nation and revive the beauty of tradition in a vivid expression connecting the present to its deeply rooted heritage.
Dukkan Al Awwaleen and Design Your Own Coffee Cup
Dukkan Al Awwaleen welcomes visitors with a design inspired by the simplicity of the past, offering light snacks and beverages that remain cherished in memory.
Colour Your Cup activity is another highlight of the program, allowing visitors to design their own coffee cups. The cup becomes a unique piece reflecting individual taste and a keepsake accompanying family coffee moments.
Al Khor Ramadan Nights also features a dedicated photography corner to capture family moments during the holy month.
