HBMSU Chancellor discusses prospects in futuristic learning in Egypt during forum held at Egypt Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai

UAE, November 09, 2021 – H.E. Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), recently took part in a panel discussion ‘Education in Egypt: From Kindergarten to job Maker’ organized by and held at the Egypt Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. Participating at the talk is in line with HBMSU’s commitment to share its leading experiences in establishing smart learning and promote knowledge transfer across the Arab world.
On the sidelines of the visit, Dr. Mansoor Al Awar held a meeting with Dr. Tarek Shawki, Minister of Education and Technical Education in Egypt; Dr. Ebada Sarhan, President of the Future University in Egypt; and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El Matini, President of Ain Shams University, where they discussed key prospects of bilateral cooperation on areas of mutual interests, specifically in enhancing scientific research and developing the educational system in accordance with the latest trends in innovation and technology. These efforts also aim to promote the close bilateral relations between UAE and Egypt.
Dr. Mansoor Al Awar noted that HBMSU is committed to advancing its efforts to adopt advanced technologies to enhance the quality, efficiency, and resiliency in higher education. He further emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration opportunities between Emirati and Egyptian universities to open new prospects for the Arab youth and enable them to acquire skills that meet the needs of the 21st century, as they are the driving force that will help build a safer and more prosperous future.
