Dubai, UAE, February 9, 2017:  Featuring a redesigned bezel, a guilloché motif and water resistant elements, the ever-successful tango collection showcases a new aesthetic with technical lines through the expression of feminine-masculine tandem. Multi-facetted and complementary models appear subtly attired in two-tone shades combining elegance and functionality.

A tango is always performed by a pair. RAYMOND WEIL, luxury Swiss watchmaker, interprets the subtle chemistry between two dance partners. A duo for ladies and gents, the timeless tango watches are available in 30mm and 41mm case sizes respectively water-resistant to 100 and 300 meters.

It was important to RAYMOND WEIL’s in-house R&D team to preserve the identity of the tango collection. Its distinctive bezel has been enhanced with screws studded by gadroons, a tribute to the historical design of the original 1995 collection. Its dial is embellished by a central star-shaped decoration and Roman applique numerals, and complemented by a date display at 3 o’clock. Diamond hour-markers adorn the luxurious mother-of-pearl dial in the ladies’ interpretation. To further reflect the dual nature of the case, the five-link metal bracelet marries the pure gleam of polished and satin stainless steel with the warm glow of yellow gold PVD plating.

Just as the dance that inspires it offers an infinite variety of steps, the tango collection distinguishes itself through a fascinating spectrum of tempos and styles: 30mm and 41mm three-hand plus date models in all-steel or two-tone gold PVD-plated versions, along with a 43mm chronograph also offering a 300 meter water resistance.
