Idea Competition Launched Across Ajman

Innovation Centre Ajman at Ajman University has announced the launch of an entrepreneurship competition entitled “Idea Competition” this comes after its official opening earlier this month.

Dr. Mohammed Shami, Chairman, Innovation Centre Ajman explained that out of the many ideas submitted, eleven would be finalized and selected for the incubation program. He pointed out that the deadline for this competition is 10 November 2016 and the event would be held on 15-17 November 2016. He invited all those who have ideas or concepts to come forward and turn their ideas into projects. 

Dr. Al Shami further elucidated that the Innovation Centre - Ajman aims to adopt innovations and inventions from inside and outside the university, and take advantage of the capabilities and competencies of the teaching staff at the university, who hail from various different backgrounds. The innovation center that is an incubation centre for ideas contributes to the community through the experiences and expertise of the faculty members and facilities, which will also provide diverse consultations and facilitations for member and corporate entities.

He said, "The vision of the center in promoting the spirit of innovation among students and embracing innovative ideas. We are striving to be the center of leadership in the Middle East and North Africa, so that it is a center of excellence, which means becoming the vital link between the academia and labor market”.
