Dubai, UAE, June 26, 2016: Mrs. Alissar Nasr Soubra, the Chief Academic Officer at Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) - a leading academic solutions provider – was recently invited as the Chief Guest for the Annual Investiture Ceremony at The Indian High School, Dubai – the first private school in the UAE founded in 1961; catering to the CBSE syllabus. Felicitating girl students of secondary and senior secondary sections, Mrs. Nasr officially decorated students with important positions in the Student Council – an influential team of leaders that drive non-curricular activities in the school.
Mrs. Nasr carries the legacy of distinguished personalities gracing the occasion and addressing the students, faculty members, and parents with a keynote address. Speaking to the large gathering, Mrs. Nasr spoke of Dubai as a symbol of perseverance, and highlighted the importance of chasing excellence: “The United Arab Emirates in general, and Dubai in particular are perfect examples of how commitment can transform what seems like improbable thoughts into formidable realities. As leaders of today and the future of tomorrow, harness your passion and drive as these will be recognized eternally, while prestigious titles will follow.”
During her speech, Mrs. Nasr also reflected on the AMSI Voices programme, inaugurated with the theme ‘Girls Are Makers of Change’, urging the newly formed Student Council to leave a trail of inspiration and strong work ethic. “I am confident that the girls gathered for this congregation are the catalysts for change that will enhance our society,” she added to a rousing applause.
The invitation to Mrs. Nasr was extended by Dr. Ashok Kumar, CEO of The Indian High School, Dubai, who shares her mutual admiration and passion for the development of education in communities across the country. The acceptance of this gracious invitation comes as part of AMSI’s dedication to collaborating with education bodies and institutions for a collective approach towards grooming students who are dedicated towards transforming societies.
