The Project
The perfumes celebrating Trussardi’s centennial have reached another milestone on their journey. Trussardi Donna and Trussardi Uomo were launched to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand of the greyhound in 2011: the two new olfactive creations were dedicated to the maison’s iconic fragrances of the eighties.
Now the Eau de Toilette version of Trussardi Donna has arrived: fresher and more exciting than ever, it is a genuine evolution, in just five years, of a consolidated tradition.
Trussardi is one of the few brands in the world that successfully combines dynamism and classicism, a continuous search for new absolutes and a lifestyle of effortless elegance. Its fragrances, fashion, design and food all possess the values of a brand born over a century ago under the banner of quality.
Packaging And Bottle
The ombré effect on the glass of the elegant white bottle immediately distinguishes Trussardi Donna Eau de Toilette from the Eau de Parfum.
It is also a perfect metaphor of this fragrance, which is almost a nuance of the olfactive creation from five years ago.
Available in 50 and 100 ml formats, the bottle has shiny metal trim on two sides, and the shiny metal cap is engraved with the greyhound emblem.
Even the packaging is white and silver: its paper has a light texture that brings to mind lizard skin, which is a great classic of the maison.
The Fragrance
Trussardi Donna EDT belongs to the oriental/floral olfactive family and was created by the famous nose Nathalie Lorson.
A blend of yuzu, citron and water fruits creates a luminous, fruity aura in the head notes.
Femininity blooms in the heart notes with orange blossoms, jasmine tea, and water lily.
A sensuous texture of cedar and sandal woods in the base notes is slightly attenuated by vanilla and accentuated by white patchouli.
