The Middle East welcomes the Galactic 29, a Breitling ticking to women's time

Dubai, UAE, May 8, 2016:  First and foremost, Swiss luxury watchmaker and aviation chronograph specialist, Breitling is known for its resolutely masculine models. However, unbeknown to some, Breitling is also brilliantly capable of interpreting their spirit for aviation in a feminine mode. Breitling is showcasing this with the introduction of the new Galactic 29 which is available in a number of distinctive versions to suit the diverse tastes of Breitling’s female Middle East customers. 

Unquestionably feminine, the new Galactic 29 is equipped with a 29 mm diameter, making this elegant model the smallest under the brands name. The exquisitely crafted dial is available with mother-of-pearl and diamonds accents which add an especially glamorous touch. In its non-set version, the steel model is topped by a bezel in tungsten carbide, an ultra-resistant high-tech material whose original shade makes a subtle contrast with the polished steel.

The clean, crisp design of the Galactic is a combination of innate class and strong personality. Fitted with a fluted crown that facilitates handling, the case is water resistant to 100m (330ft), a rare feat for a ladies’ watch. The highly readable dial is swept over by large hands, ensuring optimal legibility, further reinforced by the sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides. 

Now available in Breitling Boutiques and stores across the Middle East, the Galactic 29 is equipped with a SuperQuartzTM movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), which achieves a degree of precision ten times higher than standard quartz.
