The Role Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the full commercial department, including QS, procurement, and cost control teams - Oversee the entire cost lifecycle of fit out projects — from pre-contract through to final account - Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with project and business objectives - Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost planning, and financial reporting - Lead contract administration, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution - Ensure robust procurement strategies and supplier management - Drive value engineering without compromising design intent or quality - Provide commercial leadership across multiple large-scale projects simultaneously - Interface with senior stakeholders, clients, consultants, and contractors
Requirements Requirements: - A commercially astute leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels - A professional with a strong reputation for delivering financial control and project success in the GCC fit out sector - Extensive experience in luxury fit out projects within the GCC (mandatory) - Proven experience running a full commercial department - Strong background in complex, large-scale fit out projects (hospitality, retail, high-end residential, or mixed-use) - Demonstrated expertise across the full cost lifecycle in fit out - In-depth knowledge of GCC contracts, procurement practices, and market conditions - Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills - Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field
