The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the logistics department within the industry, ensuring the efficient and seamless management of operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a proven ability to optimize processes and drive operational excellence. Client Details Our client is a newly launched deal-led B2B trading platform that controls, evaluates, and executes global trading opportunities. Operating as a principal across multiple markets, they combine data-driven intelligence with deep trading expertise to source, price, and distribute high-value inventory at scale. To support their rapid growth, they are seeking a hands-on Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee the physical movement and storage of high-value electronics. Description End-to-End Logistics Management * Global Freight: Oversee multi-modal international shipments, with a heavy focus on Air Freight lanes * 3PL Oversight: Act as the primary point of contact for Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners, managing storage, kitting (if required), and pick-and-pack accuracy. * Expediting: Take full ownership of the "last-mile" and time-sensitive deliveries to ensure high-value trading deals meet strict delivery windows. Inventory & Quality Control * Stock Integrity: Manage multi-country inventory levels, ensuring real-time visibility and reconciliation between the trading platform and physical 3PL warehouses. * Product Expertise: Oversee the handling and inspection protocols for Consumer Electronics, ensuring serial number tracking and security measures are robust. * Returns & RMAs: Manage the reverse logistics process for any defective or returned stock within the B2B trading ecosystem. Operational Efficiency * Landed Cost Calculation: Collaborate with the Trading Managers to provide accurate freight, duty, and storage costings to ensure deal margins are protected. * Process Improvement: Build and refine the operational SOPs for a newly launched business, focusing on scalability and speed-to-market. * Compliance: Ensure all cross-border movements comply with international trade regulations, including VAT, customs duties, and export controls for electronics Job Offer An attractive opportunity to grow and develop in the Logistics space

Requirements
* Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years in operations and logistics, specifically within Consumer Electronics or high-volume distribution environments. * Geographic Reach: Proven track record managing *multi-country operations*, particularly moving goods from European hubs to the Middle East and Asia. * 3PL Expertise: Deep experience in selecting, onboarding, and managing *3PL providers* to ensure high performance and cost-efficiency. * Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with data-driven platforms; ability to integrate physical logistics workflows with digital trading engines. * Agility: A "startup mindset"-the ability to troubleshoot shipping delays and supply chain bottlenecks in a fast-paced, opportunistic trading environment
