Charterhouse is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation looking to hire a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join their team on a 3-month contract. This role is well suited to someone who excels in documentation management, coordination, and working within structured processes and tight, customer-driven deadlines. In this position, the Document Controller will oversee the end-to-end preparation, consolidation, and uploading of documents in line with customer requirements. This includes downloading documentation from the company’s ERP system, gathering additional materials such as inspection reports, technical drawings, packing lists, delivery note approvals, and ensuring accurate and timely uploads to various customer portals. The role will also liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary documentation, maintain updated logs of upload activities, and ensure all reporting is accurate and complete. The role requires strong organisational skills, a solid understanding of sales and procurement documentation flows, and the ability to operate efficiently under time-sensitive conditions.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must be currently based in the UAE on a Sponsored or Freelance Visa. The candidate will have experience working with sales or procurement documents, including purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and delivery notes. The successful candidate will be highly confident using Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage, track, and report large volumes of data accurately. Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office and experience with SAP ERP systems is essential, along with familiarity using file-sharing tools. The candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and confidence in meeting strict deadlines. A proactive, customer-focused mindset and continuous improvement mentality will be highly valued.
