The Role We are currently supporting a leading Engineering and Construction company in the UAE in their search for a Site Architect to join their growing team to be based in Dubai. This role is responsible for ensuring that architectural designs are accurately implemented on-site during construction. The Site Architect will act as a key liaison between the design team, consultants, and construction teams to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality project delivery. Responsibilities: Review and implement architectural drawings and specifications on site Supervise architectural works to ensure quality and compliance with design intent Coordinate with MEP, structural teams, and subcontractors to resolve site issues Prepare and review shop drawings and material submittals Conduct site inspections, snagging, and ensure timely rectification Monitor progress and report on architectural activities Ensure compliance with project standards, authorities, and HSE requirements Maintain as-built drawings and support project handover
Requirements Bachelors Degree in Architecture or related field Proven experience as a Site Architect within a contracting company (strong contracting experience is essential) Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution Experience in reviewing shop drawings and material submittals Strong coordination and communication skills Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage
