The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. - Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. - Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on site activities, milestones, and issues. - Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the construction team. - Manage resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity. - Identify and resolve issues or delays, providing proactive solutions to maintain project timelines. - Inspect work for quality assurance and compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. - Mentor and guide junior supervisors and site staff to enhance their performance and professional development.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Minimum of 15 years’ experience in construction supervision, preferably in consultancy firms. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and quality standards in the UAE. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. - Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to change. - Valid UAE driving license and readiness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi. - Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards in all aspects of construction operations.
