The Role
• Manage and administer hybrid cloud environments across Azure, GCP, and OCI, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization • Maintain and support Microsoft ecosystem services: Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, SCCM, and WSUS • Administer VMware virtualization stack (vSphere, NSX, vSAN, ESXi, Hyper-V) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) • Support and implement disaster recovery (DR) solutions, backup strategies (Veeam, VXrail), and business continuity planning • Manage Linux-based systems (RedHat, Ubuntu) including configuration, patching, log analysis, and troubleshooting • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement security controls, firewall policies, IDS/IPS rules, VPN configurations, and certificate management • Execute infrastructure migration and upgrade projects in alignment with client roadmaps • Provide Level 2 incident resolution, root cause analysis, and escalation management within agreed SLAs • Coordinate with SAT Microsystems Program Manager for task tracking, progress reporting, and service delivery alignment • Participate in audit and compliance activities, ensuring documentation and controls meet client governance standards

Cloud Platforms & Virtualization • Azure (Entra ID, AVD, Intune, Azure AD Connect), GCP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) • VMware vSphere, NSX, VCF, Cloud Director, vSAN, ESXi; Hyper-V • OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes Microsoft Ecosystem • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP • Exchange Server, Microsoft 365 administration • SCCM, WSUS, Intune endpoint management Networking & Security • Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, VRRP; VLANs, Spanning Tree, SD-WAN • VPN/IPSec, GRE tunnels, SSL VPN • Firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs, certificate lifecycle management Linux & Backup/DR • RedHat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu Server, Photon OS • Veeam Backup & Replication, VXrail, DR site design and implementation Preferred Certifications • VMware: VCP, VCAP, or VCIX (any track) • Cisco: CCNP Routing & Switching or Enterprise • Microsoft: MCSA / AZ-104 / AZ-800 or equivalent • Red Hat: RHCE or RHCSA • Fortinet: NSE4 or above • Cloud: OCI Foundations / GCP Associate / Azure Administrator Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field • Master’s degree in Cloud Computing, AI, or related discipline is a plus • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or platform engineering • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise clients in healthcare, government, or similarly regulated industries • Prior experience in a managed services or consulting delivery model preferred Soft Skills & Competencies • Ability to work independently on-site with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability to remote management • Strong communication skills to interface with client IT leadership, audit teams, and cybersecurity departments • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities • Professional demeanor and the ability to integrate seamlessly into the client’s organizational culture • Strong documentation habits and experience with task tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, ServiceNow) • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents outside business hours
