The Role Inspect elevators, escalators, moving walkways, platform lifts, and dumbwaiters Perform safety device checks, functional testing, and emergency system verification Identify hazards, malfunctions, and non-compliance issues Prepare detailed inspection reports and compliance certificates Ensure compliance with standards such as EN, ASME A17.1 / CSA B44, and local regulations Witness load testing and commissioning of new installations Review maintenance records and verify preventive maintenance activities
Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in elevator/escalator inspection or related field Valid driving license Strong knowledge of international safety standards and codes Bachelors degree in Engineering/similar field
