Additional Information

The Role
The Architectural Inspector will support the on-site delivery of construction works, ensuring all architectural elements are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and the required quality standards. Working under the Resident Engineer, you will carry out regular site inspections across large-scale villa and hospitality projects, monitoring workmanship, materials, and installation to ensure compliance with design intent and project requirements. You will be responsible for inspecting ongoing works, raising non-conformance reports where required, and following up with contractors to ensure corrective actions are implemented. The role also involves reviewing shop drawings and material submissions, attending site meetings, and supporting the coordination between contractors, consultants, and the design team. A key part of the role is maintaining detailed site records, inspection reports, and documentation, while ensuring all works comply with local authority regulations and approved standards. This position requires a strong eye for detail, particularly on high-end residential and hospitality projects where finishes and technical execution are critical.

Requirements
We are looking for somebody with 5–10 years of experience in construction supervision or inspection roles, ideally within a consultancy environment. You will have experience working on luxury villas, high-end residential, or hospitality projects, with a good understanding of architectural detailing, finishes, and materials. A strong technical understanding is required, including the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings, along with knowledge of construction methods and QA/QC procedures. You should be comfortable working on site, inspecting works, identifying issues, and communicating effectively with contractors and consultants to ensure standards are met. UAE experience is preferred, with a working knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements. A degree or diploma in Architecture or a related discipline is expected.
