The Role Our client is one of the UAE’s leading property developers, renowned for delivering iconic projects that showcase exceptional architectural innovation and quality. With a development portfolio exceeding AED 40 billion across multiple prime assets in Dubai, they continue to set benchmarks in the region’s real estate landscape. They are now seeking to appoint an experienced Planning Director to lead the planning function across a diverse portfolio of high-profile developments. Role Overview: The Planning Director will be responsible for driving the overall project planning strategy, ensuring all developments are aligned with business objectives, delivery timelines, and performance targets. This is a leadership role requiring strong oversight of project controls, scheduling, and risk management across multiple concurrent projects. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee master planning, scheduling, and project controls across the portfolio • Develop and implement planning strategies, standards, and processes • Lead and mentor planning teams and ensure resource optimization • Review and approve project schedules, progress reports, and risk assessments • Collaborate with development, design, and construction teams to ensure timely delivery • Provide executive-level reporting and insights on project performance • Identify risks, delays, and mitigation strategies at a portfolio level
Requirements • Extensive experience in real estate or construction planning • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills • Expertise in planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) • Proven track record managing large-scale developments
