The Role Responsibilities: Coordinate with Operational Coordinators, the drivers and the maintenance technicians to diagnose vehicle or equipment complaints and accordingly issue job card for each vehicle, before starting the work. Will be responsible to schedule the maintenance and servicing of all company vehicles and equipment; Also, responsible for its timely completion, without compromising on the service quality. To coordinate with the technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair jobs. To track, record, manage and timely resolve maintenance and repair issues and communicate accordingly to the line manager and to the operations department. To coordinate with suppliers for vehicle maintenance / repair and for the procurement activities, if assigned. Strive to ensure efficiency optimization and report deviations to the line manager Support and assist in warehouse management, in procurement and any other assigned administrative jobs. Ensure cleanliness, proper housekeeping and safe stocking of items in the Workshop, in strict compliance with the HSE requirements. Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly. To do data entry for Workshop activities, including for maintenance & repair works, as advised. To liaise with governmental or any other concerned authorities for any required approvals. To maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning, by attending educational workshops, training and e-learning programs, by reviewing professional publications and by benchmarking best practices. To Prepare the required monthly and /or any other MIS report, as assigned by your reporting manager. Responsible to comply with the applicable HSE and company policies and procedures, UAE laws and applicable regulations. To work ethically and to report any violations and acts that may affect the health, safety, environment, ethics and company reputation. To Perform any other task, as assigned from time to time by the company, based on business requirement.
Requirements Requirements: Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering is desirable. Professional Certification: HSE related certification preferred. Specialized knowledge: Basic knowledge on vehicle, spare parts and on workshop environment and working procedures. Skills: Organizational, Analytical, and Interpersonal skills, Commercial awareness, Knowledge of Hindi and Urdu will be advantageous. Computer Skills: Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, internet, etc.). Should be a team player, highly organized and able to prioritize tasks, dependable and flexible. Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in a workshop environment.
