The Role
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed cost estimates. • Conduct cost analysis and prepare tender documentation. • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with budget constraints. • Perform quantity and material take-offs in alignment with project specifications and documents. • Analyze and review contractor quotations; negotiate contract terms as needed. • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and verify quantities. • Assess, certify, and process subcontractor payments and invoices. • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors. • Track project expenditures and monitor variations to manage costs effectively. • Maintain a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. • Utilize estimation software and proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word). • Familiarity with AutoCAD and project management tools to support project execution. • Demonstrate strong analytical and negotiation skills in project interactions. • Communicate effectively and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.

Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor-Civil with 3-5 years of experience to oversee all aspects of cost planning, estimation, and financial control for our Substation civil construction projects. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Experience: • 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the civil engineering sector. • Hands-on experience in cost planning and estimation for construction projects.
