The Role Plan, coordinate, and manage the transportation and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and tools to project sites. Develop and implement site logistics plans for efficient material handling and storage. Monitor material flow and inventory movement to avoid delays in construction activities. Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, warehouse staff, and subcontractors for timely supply and distribution. Ensure materials are stored, transported, and handled safely according to company and safety standards. Maintain logistics documentation including delivery notes, vehicle logs, and material movement reports. Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in material supply and recommend corrective actions. Liaise with vendors, transporters, and subcontractors for scheduling and deliveries. Assist in budget tracking, cost control, and reporting for logistics operations. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements in all logistics activities.
Requirements Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Logistics/Supply Chain. 57 years of experience in logistics or material management in building construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and site operations. Experience in planning and coordinating material movement for construction projects. Familiarity with logistics software, MS Office, and reporting tools. Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines. Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects. Knowledge of supply chain optimization and inventory management. Familiarity with HSE standards for material handling and transportation.
