Blue Note - Celebrating Jazz Day

Head over to Dubai Opera on 30 April to celebrate International Jazz Day in honour of the timeless sound, spirit and innovation that have defined Blue Note Records, the renowned jazz label. Led by bandleader Peter Long, along with his sextet featuring Sara Oschlag, this special performance brings together an exceptional ensemble of international jazz musicians who will journey through the rich catalogue and style that made Blue Note a global symbol of excellence.

The highlight of the evening is a special guest performance by Francesco Cafiso Duo an award-winning Italian saxophonist who won an international jazz competition at the age of 11. The show will also pay tribute to legendary artists such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock who shaped the Blue Note legacy over the decades. Be prepared to be swept away by world-class musicianship, vibrant improvisation and a shared celebration of jazz.
